Design of Monitoring System for Hazardous Gas and Fire Detection In Building Based On Internet of Things

Fires and gas leaks are events that still occur frequently. This incident is usually caused by various factors including leakage of LPG cylinders, cigarette butts disposed carelessly, short circuits electric current so on. Generally, fires can only be detected if the fire has already grown or a lot smoke comes out building. Therefore, monitoring system for detecting dangerous gases in buildings based on Internet Things was created monitor condition building through website as well send notifications to Telegram application smartphones. The detection implemented uses flame sensor detector, an MQ-2 detector hazardous (CO, CO2, CH4), NodeMCU module transmit data. will work continuously real time, exceeds threshold detected, notification display value status map area where leak occurred. results able provide solutions cases handled early signs sending information users via notifications.
